12. Reflective Masculinity with Ryan Hoglund

My guest today is Ryan Hoglund. Ryan is the Director of Ethical Education at Rowland Hall in Salt Lake City, Utah.

This conversation spotlights May for Men in Education as Ryan talks about how teaching was his antidote to the "spirit murder" he experienced in his brief career in finance.

In this conversation, Ryan reminds us why it's so important to model reflective masculinity for his students--masculinity that can be gentle, vulnerable and centered.

He also describes what he loves about education and why he likes to challenge stereotypes as we chat about the ways education can be gendered.
